Flexible
Users take an online assessment test to determine their level for each area, but you will quickly become familiar with the training environment. As you move through the modules, beginner courses serve as overviews or refreshers, with students moving quickly on to the finer points. ROLL has been designed for all ability levels.

Adaptable
There’s no new hardware or software involved, as your PC – 2000 / Office XP / Office 2003 – already has everything you need to get started. In fact many organizations have used online learning during software upgrades, to assist staff in migrating from Office 2000 to Office XP.

Accessible
With all content and programme management online, you can log on to a course any time, anywhere, for as long as you want. Each time you resume, you’ll be taken straight to the last page you were working on.

Accredited
Offering all students access to the European Computer Driving License (ECDL) syllabus, is another incentive to register with ROLL. Our students follow the training modules and sit their tests at local IT centres.

RCVS
All students come to RCVS to register and for hands-on experience of how the programme works. At the same time we help individuals to tailor their approach – to identify the most relevant and useful elements for their needs. Users also receive phone/email support to their desks from Philippa Leary, RCVS e-Learning Development Coordinator.

Cost efficient
ROLL students make a one-off payment £30 for one year's access to all training courses.

N.B. Students for ECDL will have to pay a further cost to the test centre for their exams and enrolment.
