RCVS Design and Print Service

RCVS now provides a valuable design and print service to help local voluntary and community organisations produce eye-catching, professional publications at a low cost. Work to date includes designing flyers for a local school summer scheme and printing quality folded and stapled newsletters for a member organisation.

Design Service

RCVS has a highly skilled staff member able to create great designs for your organisation and tailor these to your requirements.

We will firstly discuss your needs and ask you to provide a design brief for us to work with. Then we’ll get initial ideas to you and ask you to approve the final proof before sending it to our trusted printers.

Printing Service

Our new Xerox Copy centre can print and copy up to A3 full colour documents and even produce high-quality folded and stapled A4 or A5 booklets at cost price.

If you’ve designed something yourself then let us finish the professional job for you at cost price. Just contact us and we’ll quickly print everything for you and call you when it’s ready.

Costs

Our prices are low because we only aim to cover our costs, not make a profit.

Design Service

Design: £30 per hour / £200 per day. This cost includes the initial discussions and helping you create your brief.

Printing Service

• Colour: 20p per sheet; B&W: 8p per sheet. A4 or A3 - paper size doesn't matter.
• Double sided is double the price.

Examples:

• 12 page folded/stapled A4 full colour brochure = 12 x £0.20 = £2.40
• 8 page folded/stapled A4 mono brochure = 8 x £0.08 = £0.64

We recommend using this service for print runs of up to 500. For larger print runs please contact us and we will pass on our printer’s details to you.

Full Service (Design and Printing)

Let us do the whole job for you. Here's an example: to produce 200 x 2-sided, full colour A4 brochure, design: £200, Printing: £80 giving a total of £280.
